Families with Children from China Australia (FCCA) is the only national parent group that acts solely for families who have adopted, or are in the process of adopting, children of Chinese ethnicity. FCCA currently has approximately 140 families as members throughout Australia. The group is run by a committee made up of volunteer parent members. If you’d like to become a member, or would like more information please email: info@fccaustralia.com.au with any queries.
The association also organises a national biannual gathering called the Ju Hui, for pre and post adoption families. This gathering is held in a different place in Australia each time (see ‘Events’ for the 2016 & 2018 Ju Huis). Inbetween times many of our member families will meet informally.
Annual membership is $50 (Download Membership Form).
FCCA’s 3 key goals:
a) To support families who have adopted children of Chinese ethnicity through post-adoption and Chinese culture programs.
b) To encourage adoption of children of Chinese ethnicity and support waiting families.
c) To advocate for and support children remaining in orphanages in China.
